Who doesn’t love dry shampoo?! It’s basically a busy Mama’s best friend. I don’t know about you, but as a busy Mom, and business owner, I don’t want to spend precious time washing and blow drying my hair every day. I can probably think of a million other things I could spend my time doing. Thankfully dry shampoo stretches the time I can go between washes a ton- I can usually go 3-4 days between, which to me is huge!
It’s the perfect solution for busy Mama’s, right? But what if I told you that most of the dry shampoos on the market contained multiple harmful chemicals, and it was actually flammable… Seriously. Let’s chat a bit about the problematic ingredients found in most dry shampoos that are on the market.

When I was pregnant with my second baby, Henry, I knew that I wanted my birth to be different than my first (You can read about both of my birth experiences in my Epidural VS Unmedicated birth series). I wanted to feel in control, and empowered by my birth experience, and ultimately thats how I felt during and after Henry's birth. It was also an incredibly fast birth (less than an hour from beginning of active labor until birth), which was something that I had really been hoping for.
What's better than chocolate mousse? How about chocolate mousse with gut healing properties, and probiotics! I'm always looking for treats to make for my littles that will be good for them, and won't make me feel guilty, and this one definitely fits the bill. And since this mousse is also paleo, gluten free, dairy free, and vegan, it's a great option for those with food sensitivities.
Dry brushing has become really popular. It seems like everyone I follow online is doing it... but why? And how? Read on, and I'll share with you the benefits of dry brushing, and the correct way to do it!
Welcome to part three of my series: Epidural VS Unmedicated Birth!
If you read the first two posts, you know that my two birth experiences were completely different. My first was an induction with an epidural, and my second was a totally unmedicated birth without so much as an IV port. There are pros and cons to both in my opinion, and I want to share my thoughts on that with you. Welcome to part two of my epidural vs unmedicated three part series!
As I mentioned in part one, my goal of this series is to share my two very different experiences as a resource for expecting Mamas. There is no right or wrong way to birth, and every Mama and pregnancy are different. You have options, and you should feel free to birth in whatever way you choose! Now, let's get down to it. epidural vs unmedicated birth series // part one :: Jack's birth story :: Hospital epidural birth2/27/2019
Welcome to part one of my three part series: Natural Birth VS Epidural.
My hope in sharing my two birth experiences is to help other Mama's determine the type of birth that they'd like to have. There's no right or wrong way to birth. Every pregnancy, situation, and Mama are different. I just want Mothers to have the information to make an informed choice, and to know that they have options!
Banana bread is one of our favorite treats in my house. I especially love it because it's SO easy to make banana bread a healthy, guilt free snack - I swear, when you combine eggs and bananas they are just magic! They are able to make a texture so similar to bread without any flours, it's pretty amazing.
This recipe is kid-approved, guilt-free, and super easy!
It's that time of year! It's freezing outside, and nothing seems to sound better than a hot cup of something, and of course hot cocoa is top of the list. But may not necessarily be a wise choice if you're trying to avoid dairy or refined sugars. This recipe gives all satisfaction of the original, with a little less guilt.
Are you trying to avoid plastic cups for your littles? We're learning more and more how harmful the chemicals in plastic are (even BPA free plastic), so it's definitely a wise choice to try to avoid eating and drinking out of plastic as much as possible. But with so many options out there, it can be overwhelming! I wanted to share with you guys my four favorites safe cup options for little ones.
