epidural vs unmedicated birth series // part one :: Jack's birth story :: Hospital epidural birth2/27/2019
Welcome to part one of my three part series: Natural Birth VS Epidural.
My hope in sharing my two birth experiences is to help other Mama's determine the type of birth that they'd like to have. There's no right or wrong way to birth. Every pregnancy, situation, and Mama are different. I just want Mothers to have the information to make an informed choice, and to know that they have options!

Banana bread is one of our favorite treats in my house. I especially love it because it's SO easy to make banana bread a healthy, guilt free snack - I swear, when you combine eggs and bananas they are just magic! They are able to make a texture so similar to bread without any flours, it's pretty amazing.
This recipe is kid-approved, guilt-free, and super easy!
It's that time of year! It's freezing outside, and nothing seems to sound better than a hot cup of something, and of course hot cocoa is top of the list. But may not necessarily be a wise choice if you're trying to avoid dairy or refined sugars. This recipe gives all satisfaction of the original, with a little less guilt.
Are you trying to avoid plastic cups for your littles? We're learning more and more how harmful the chemicals in plastic are (even BPA free plastic), so it's definitely a wise choice to try to avoid eating and drinking out of plastic as much as possible. But with so many options out there, it can be overwhelming! I wanted to share with you guys my four favorites safe cup options for little ones.
Have you ever cut up a delicious, crisp apple only to take a bite and taste garlic? Yep, time to deodorize that cutting board. Bamboo and wood cutting boards tend to hold onto flavors and odors of what you cut on them. You could have separate cutting boards for more pungent chores like cutting onions or garlic, and if you're able to keep them separate, that's awesome - you're winning at life in my opinion. That isn't me though. I have a separate cutting board that is plastic for meat and poultry, and that's about as far as I'm able to take that.
So if you're anything like me, here is a quick, easy way to deodorize and get strong flavors off of your wood or bamboo cutting boards. You'll need: |
